About

You’re trying to get your wife pregnant, things aren’t working the way they used to in bed, or you’re a guy and have some questions about your health.  What you did for fun in your teens is suddenly a lot more work.  This blog is for you.

Women talk about these things with their friends and relatives.  Guys usually don’t.  The internet is a great place to get a lot of information, but not all of it is good.  I’ll try to give you the best information from medical science today.

Who am I?  I’m Craig Niederberger, M.D. F.A.C.S., a urologist specializing in male reproductive medicine (also known as “andrology”) at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  I know, we invent long names for ourselves in medicine.  But in this blog, I’ll try to break it down to the concepts, and dump the jargon.

Why am I doing this?  Because I see men every day who want to have a family, are having difficulty in bed, or both.  Many come in with great questions about something they read on the internet.  I’d like to try to answer those questions for any man with an internet connection who is interested.

This is my first blog, and I encourage you to comment.  You might suggest a future topic, want clarification about something I wrote, or disagree with me.  I’m up for all of it.  What I can’t do is answer specific questions about your personal health.  If you need to see a doctor, you need to see one in person.  That’s good medicine, and the only way I can practice it.

So, welcome to my blog, and I hope you get some use from it!
